My adorable little boys have no idea what they are saying. Or at least I have no idea what they are saying so I’m pretty confident that they aren’t entirely sure what most of the things that come out of their mouths mean.
The other day they were arguing like normal…more like fighting, that’s generally how most of my day goes. Them trying to kill each other with a few giggles here and there, like it is normal behavior to kick your brother in the nose. You know, stuff like that.
So in the middle of them yelling and screaming at each other I heard this.
Little Brother: “I’m never going to be your brother!”
Big Brother: “You can’t undo that spell…”
What does that even mean? Where did that even come from? At what point in time did they learn what the meaning of spells is?
It made perfect sense without making any sense at all!
Bottom line, dad and I busted up laughing! Despite the fact that they were trying very hard to be mad at each, they managed to yell out one of the few things that would make us all laugh in a situation like this.
It amazes me how blunt they can be. It also amazes me where they come up with what they say. He has obviously never heard any of us say something like that so I have no clue where spells were introduced, but it was funny none the less!
